A Subtle Design Approach to Achieve a Large Goal
We’ve had the pleasure of working together with Doxim for a number of years on various projects including website design and development, right through to their print design marketing and trade show graphics. In late 2015, we received a request to go right down to the foundation and help Doxim rebrand their company image. As a recognized name in the document management software industry, it was imperative that we navigate through the corporate rebranding strategically, not to take too drastic an approach with the brand redesign. Instead of approaching the rebranding with a completely new graphic design approach, together with Doxim we opted to give the logo design an improved contemporary aesthetic and carry the new design style throughout Doxim’s various print and web marketing materials.
First up, just in time for Doxim’s fall trade show and conference season we applied the new brand to a series of trade show marketing materials, including stand up banners, branded trade show booths and wearables, such as custom designed lanyards. This was a great opportunity to explore the new brand and take it for a test drive while introducing it to the captive customer base prior to the rollout of the new website design.
Going forward, as new materials were required for additional marketing efforts we began applying the new brand to various print and digital assets such as brochures and ebooks that Doxim could use to further expand the new brand. Through updating the logo design, typography and colour palette we quickly and subtly helped Doxim refresh their brand identity quietly and efficiently without confusing their client base with a brand new company.
Lastly, with the new logo design and corporate brand tried, tested and true we helped Doxim work with various service providers to piece together a corporate identity guidebook that will serve as their branding roadmap ensuring the custom brand design is applied correctly for years to come.
